Patrick Borgeat, born 1985 in Öhringen. In 2010 he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Informatics (Music Technology) at University of Music Karlsruhe. After that he worked as a teacher for programming and computer music at Institute for Musicology and Music Informatics (IMWI) for three years. Europe-wide appearances as a experimental computer musician and media artist since 2010. Performances, Talks and Workshops in London, Madrid, Prague, Vienna, Liepāja, Tallinn and St. Petersburg (amongst others). Together with his ensembles he received an Honorary Mention at Prix Ars Electronica 2012 and Visual Music Live Contest 2015. From 2015 he worked as developer, designer and quality director on several social awareness games/projects for Causa Creations. Since 2016 he’s back at IMWI as a teacher and doctoral student. Since 2016 vice-chairman of Digitale Kunstfabrik e.V. Karlsruhe.
Since October 2015 he works at Max-Reger-Institute — mainly in the area of website administration and programming.
