As part of the „Verbundstelle Musikedition“, he supported the two Edirom-based projects “Reger-Werkausgabe” (Max-Reger-Institut/Elsa-Reger-Stiftung, Karlsruhe) and “OPERA – Spektrum des europäischen Musiktheaters in Einzeleditionen” (Goethe University Frankfurt/Main). Until February 2016, he was also responsible for the development of the MEI Score Editor (MEISE) as part of the BMBF project “Digital Research Infrastructures for the Arts and Humanities” (DARIAH-DE). |

Studies in musicology/music informatics, Karlsruhe University of Music Nikolaos Beer studied musicology/music informatics at the Karlsruhe University of Music until 2009, minoring in applied cultural studies at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). He then continued his studies in the master's program in musicology at the Karlsruhe University of Music, graduating in 2011. |
