Monika Rihm, born 1960 in Karlsruhe. After finishing secondary school at Bismarck-Gymnasium in Karlsruhe she studied German Language and Literature Studies and History at Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg im Breisgau. Since 2000 her main occupation is in the areas of administration, organisation and secretariat at Literarische Gesellschaft Karlsruhe, supporting agency of Museums für Literatur am Oberrhein at PrinzMaxPalais Karlsruhe.

Next to that:

• Honorarly working in the administration of the foundation Hermann Hesse Literaturpreis Karlsruhe.
• Vice chairwoman of Freundeskreises der Hochschule für Musik Karlsruhe.
• Since August 2016 she’s responsible for bookkeeping at Max-Reger-Institut Karlsruhe.
